Hi

This might have been asked before, so sorry in advance
I'm looking for some advice on upgrade for a B10 and B110 saloon diff,
Does anyone know what diffs are in these 2? and what could be put in the casing to give a stronger diff

thanks

Not sure about the B10, but the B110 will be running the "H145" diff, best option is to replace it with a "H165" from a B120 ute, they are the same width but are bigger and stronger! (you'll need to change the whole thing, not aware of anything that will go in the casing and be any stronger)

I have a couple of LSD units for the H145 on the market if you know anyone who'd want them.

the B10 diff is a H145 with smaller axles. they are also a bit narrower than the 1200 diff.

Got a great diff from a 1966-7 datsun bluebird I thought it was a h190 but its a h165 4.11 (37:9) with alloy carrier and is the same size drum to drum as the 1000. The beauty about it is it fits the 260z alloy drums and its all lighter than the original h145.
Now Being looking at some diff ratios or the crown and pinion and wondering if anyone knows if I can mix and match h165 pionions. If I use a 35 toothed crown from the 4.4 rear with a 10 toothed pinion from a 3.9 rear you can in theory get a 3.5 ratio rear which will go fine with a 4 speed a15 on the freeway. Does anyone know??

Each pinion and crown wheel are matched as a pair. You cannot mix and match them.

Brent, how much do you want for the H145 limited slips? Also, how much would shipping to the States cost?

Dimlight65,
I had them advertised and heaps of people wanted them but no one actually fronted with the $$$'s, I know I spent a lot of time finding these because they’re so rare and when I did find them they didn’t come cheap, but I really need the money at the moment so would seriously consider any reasonable offers. As for the freight depends on what service you'd like, but something this size, I would recommend a courier or postage service, I will look into pricing this end if your serious.
thanks
Brent

You tell me .....

all I know is ....
They're damn hard to find.
They cost me an arm & leg.
They've had minimal use and in very good nick.
They are puny & no used to me.
They're only worth what someone is prepared to pay for them.

I would like ....
Good home for them.
A fair price.

Make an offer
