Anyone know which shokers to use for the rear of a very lowered 1200 coupe so they work better than the longer originals. Im looking at the cheap monroe range. eg the suzuki swift ones which seem tiny. Any hints please before I buy them..

1200rc is right..doh..you meant the back.

Go to the USA and get some Tokicos..they kick ass. I think they just don't have a distributer here in AUS anymore. I bought Tokico Silvers all round in '94, and man, these shocks "rocked".
Don't ever buy Gabriel...I had some in the back of my 1200, and I bent one of them on Sydney roads with normal use. They are pissweak.

I looked on the Tokico website, and note that they no longer do shocks for 1200s. A trip to the local suspension shop, with the required lengths and end types, should unearth something.

These KYBs are supposed to fit..The picture looks totally wrong. It's interesting what else these are supposed to fit.

Im otherwise going to motorbike shocks since they are stronger than 1000 to stabilize a single rear wheel on a bike. I say stronger as in tension and you can get coil overs for very cheap if you can make them fit.
