Sorry guys it's short notice i know, but there is the next round of the Marque Championship on Sunday at Sandown. It starts at about 9 - 9.30. There will be lots of Dattos', unfortunatley not mine. According to the Marque Club I am not allowed to race a 'Race' car at this particular round. You need a road registered or road registerable vehicle with roadworthy tyres .

Not happy, but apparently there are no points on offer for this round for the MSCA championship. The bad news is I will not get any for the NDSOC championship (which i am leading outright). This may give Cam the opportunity he needs to jump in front.

Not too worried cos as you all know I have a blown headie anyhow...thanks to Cam (do I smell a conspiricy?)

Hope to see the boys there, i'll be with Cam and his blue 1600

Cheers

Stevo

I'll be there mate...to pick up those NDSOC points that you'll miss out on

I see Ferral Errol's entry in as well, he might be out to show us beginers a thing or two (or three)

I had the little girl on the dyno today (EFI dynamics ) on dyno road. The sunny has a mystery miss at 6200 rpm. Goes real strong up to that then dies in the guts and i cant get any more dyno time till next month
We think it may be the MSD playing up so I am going to fit my S2 bluey dissy and coil back and see what happens.
Those Pooley boys will be trying to pour a can of whoop-ass over me on Sunday so I may have to padddle a bit faster on the turns to keep up with them

That's no good mate

Looking forward to seeing you show the Group G class how it's done, even with a miss-fire

Hate those mystery misses... Why do they only ever show up when you're paying for dyno time by the hour????
I reckon you could fly a plane across the atlantic troublefree, but bolt it to a dyno and it would miss/refuse to start/blow all the oil out/all of the above.....

Found the problem, the MSD 6AL was auto triggering the rev limiter at 6250 rpm. Took it off and the miss has gone so no excuses

Wish I could have optimised mixtures for the top end!

Doubt I would get near Cams times as Sandown is a power circuit, with the long uphill back straight and the long main straight. Turbo territory.

Well,
Had a good day and didnt break anything.

The dreaded Pooley boys flogged hell out of me (1:36.8 vs 1 :39 ) . I am determined to have my revenge!!!!!!!!!

Cam did a 1:28 in the 1600 SR20 turbo and looks like taking a second in class to a very big buck BMW M3.

Cheers
Feral Errol
