if yor talking about a ute h165 there isnt one, if your talking bluey h165 then there is a million blueys

im guessing you mean a ute one though, the axels are quite rare and if ya think ya gonna break one maybe you should put a vanette h190 diff with fwd offset rims or flares in

I was talking to one of my buddies and he said the utes here may have the same diffs as the passenger cars. Is there an easy way to identify if my truck's got a 165 or not?

h165 in a coupe

i did measure the centre once but cant remember how big it was

there was quite a diffrence between the 165 and 145 and you should be able to see it visually, maybe you can tell from this pic if yours is the same or smaller?

otherwise i can measure it tomorow for ya (too cold and parked on stones at the moment)

Yeah I looked at that picture but it's hard to see much. It's dark and pouring out right now so I'll measure mine up tomorrow.

one diffrence i remember now is that where the brake line splits to each side via a "t" piece, on the h145 there was a bolt that went through the t-piece to mount it to the diff, on the h165 there was not

Also if you have a U bolt that holds the diff to the leaf springs from an H145 it won't fit around the H165, not sure if that is any help?

RC apparently the H145 has studs with nuts holding the centre in... and the H165 has bolts holding the centre in? can you comment on that since you have both?
