has everyone seen the yellow ute in the fast fours mag "TUFAZZ"? is this the future datto ute? with a welded shut tailgate, huge intercooler, CADET, 17inch mags, total new interior......
what do people think of this style ?

where is the datsun? alot of 1200 utes/1200's in oz are moving towards this feature ....(this isnt a bad thing), but i still love the Old Skool feel, a nice done up 1200 with a sweet Amotor, and keeping to the orgianal datsun feel i just hope there are still some old skool 1200's going around in 10 years

p.s just my thoughts, hope it doesnt offend

you've got a point both of you i want to keep mine all warm and a-series but at the same time i like the rertro tech side a perth boy where i'm from got his ute in the hot 4's july 2000 issue 1200 ute with ca18det shortened VP commy diff the works and i've met him he's a nice guy and has some really kool mods he has kept it simple on the inside like repadded stock seats and simple trim and dash, 5 spoke 15's. since being published he's done some other stuff like take out the grille and build an intercooler to be the grille and shaped like th old grille around the lights it's simple yet effective you know it means buissness cos it is a bit of a dark horse

retro or original is great
i have some cheeky mods up my sleeve and ill just have to wait on them but until then it will be a tuff 120y coupe with some 13" jellybeans and a noisy exhaust it holds it's own my mates XD falcon 250 crossflow has trouble shakin me even with a dodgy 3 to 4th gear change and excells don't know whats going onn so it suits me.

i've had a rant now too early to be at work not enough caffiene in the world
