Is it possible to make "Location" a mandatory field when people sign up for this club?

Also, on a bit of a side note. Would it be possible to get another, say 5 topics added to the total on the main page?

These are both excellent suggestions in fact more than five topics would be even better. And the location thing would eliminate countless "where are you located" replies to posts.

Daniel, I know you are against making the home page "Recent Discussions" list longer, is there a reason why? It would help club members keep up to date ... maybe you could use a style that limits the topic subjects so they won't ever wrap to two lines. I would personally like to see 30 Topics listed which should cover 24 hours.

To free up more room in the center, perhaps you could also move the "Recent Links" and "Recent Downloads" (which do not change very often) to the left side.

I have seen it on other forums.... Dunno if the software for this one would let you though...

last time this came up about lengthening the number of threads, daniel said something to do with not enough space or memory or something limiting it and that what we have is already on the limit

but yeah maybe we can chop off a couple of the extra things down the bottom to free it up, news have never worked for me when im logged in and recent links or downloads prob dont need to be there, or even the recent gallery thingy
