I had noticed a red 1200 coupe driving around town on a few occassions and I thought I might track the guy down as I was looking for a 1200 to use as a test car (ie for different engines and g/b's). Found out where he lived purely by accident and asked him if he had any other 1200's around. He said staright away that yes, he had another 1200 coupe and 120Y and that if I bought his current coupe off him, I could have the other two cars. Anyway, $100 later and I'm driving this baby home, and I have another whole car plus a whole 120Y for parts. *Does happy dance*

Thats awsome it looks like my Datto and mine even has rusted sills and a towbar like yours too!! Mine was a bit dearer it was $1300 and had a ute diff with locker, strong 4spd h/d clutch and a JTS A15 with twin 40mm webers (approx 120bhp).

I'll buy the spare 1200 coupe off ya if u don't need it! I'll give u $100. There, you've already got your money back

Yeah, this one is dead stock from what I can see, with about 15 years worth of built up scum on the floors!

Which brings me to another thing...what is it about old dattos? Nearly every one that I have seen or looked at is full of picture magazines or some kind of porn, including this one!

It's quite uncanny really, does that say something about datsun owners in general? Hahaha.
