ok this is not related to datsun at all hence being in off the topic
ok well ive got a scooter and some gokart wheels and a motor and a few diffrent sprockets and i want to put it all together ive thought about this alot and can only think of putting like extra long bolts thrue the gokart wheel and using spacers to add some stiffness will it work and would it be hard to make a holde new scooter i have forks for the front so that wont be hard but the rest of it i think wont be to har all i need now is a 3' by 4' long pod filter or a 5' pancake filter how hard are they to find and how much any one know cya and yes i no its got nothing to do with datsun

ok i worked it out i just posted a pic of a scooter that has a turbo and nitrous oxide in the photo album in forum section that thing is awesome

For the wheels, you can use a long rod, long enough to cross the entire scooter, and the wheels fit onto that.

Only the ends of the rods are threaded.

I probably shouldn't mention this since I lost the link to the site when my other laptop died. There was a group selling (?) Razor type scooters with a, wait for it, JET ENGINE! Seriously, they had a tiny little ramjet attached to the scooter that they started with compressed air and then went!
If I remember correctly, they said it wasn't the speed of the thing that was so scary, it was the noise.
Seems like I found it on a search for "home made jet engines" or something.

thanx for that i think ill just go friction drive for simplicity and then maybe chain drive when i get some money
