if anyone wants to know a good seat to put into their ute.... go for the mx5 seats
there small and they also have speakers inbuilt to the headrest. This comes in very handy consider the lack of space these utes have for stereos
I put them in then replaced the speakers with JBL's and it produces an awesome sound. The seats aren't that expensive starting at about $400 for the pair

Are they easily mounted? We had honda buckets in ours but my Dad couldn't drive it to well as his knees hit the wheel with how close you sat. Now we have been looking for something else at a good price.

there not to hard to install but I got a company here in Adelaide to install them. they, i think, cut the original mounts and welded new mounts from side to side and sat them on that. All up the install only cost me $60 I would've dopne it but don't have the right tools at home the seats I got for $400 from Adelaide Jap dismantlers
