i have the settings for the head stud tighting patten on a A12.... i assume this is the same for A14, a15 etc? i have a12gx head on a14 block, the tightening pattern will be the same as the a12?

Yes, the pattern is the same.

The torque specification differs (even early A12s have two different specs, depending on the bolts used). Tech Section article has details.
