I'm a little far away, but if I was around, I would certainly check it out, you will have fun there, nice cars and plenty of car people, nice fast cars, we are missing something like that here in US, here in US the crowd is with either V-8 cars(old american v8's) or the plastic crowd(FWD plastic wraped hondas). I think you guys down under are more inventive, inquisitive, knowledable when it comes to cars, I am the same way, but here in US most people are like cattle, they do not know nor have any taste, they just have to drive what the "fad" "trend" "cattle" drive, there are those who know what they like and want and work on it, but the mass is driven by hype.Would rather pay 5000 down and 400 a month for a plastic car than pay 300 for a RWD japanesse car and install a killer motor for less than the downpayment, without the monthly payments for 6 years.

In sept, there is a rotary meet in Irvine, I'll be there, Datsuns, Mazdas, and others with rotas' , exccccccciting stuff.
