This week's Autoweek has the New Nissan pickup -- it's as big as the Ford F-150 (america's biggest selling vehicle for like 10 years)

Anyways there is an all-new all-alloy 5.6 liter engine (342 cubic inches). Would go nicely into a 1200 like this one:

If it's all alloy it can't be too bad.
People put all kinds of bigger old tech engines in cars as small as dattos...
Can't be too bad...
