has anyone ever considered putting a diesel engine into a 1200?? does anyone know of any diesel engines that will fit??

noone knows of any diesels that will fit in a 1200 engine bay?

i wouldnt mind using biodiesel (same as normal diesel) as its readily available cheap at my uni, and it is 1/10000th as polluting as normal diesel and petrol, thus good for the environment. supposedly it only gives off a little CO2.

THATS WHY!!! so ner lol.

i was just curious anyways, considering my options.

yep i am thinking along that line to.
I have two GMH Isuzu Gemini diesel +5 speeds in shed.
I havei put a 1500 dato and a isuzu diesel into a Suzuiki 4x4LWB &SWB dont see why it dont go in.
Sump is on wrong end is only probblem.
I still got suzie diesel it goes about 1400km on a fill (2X 40lt tanks) plenty of speed and grunt for what i need it for, FISHING the beach on FRASER ISLAND.
I mite post sum photos of each suzies if interested

yeah all i can think of is the gemi motor, the 1.8 diesel motor that one of the models came out in? why are u wanting diesel? wanna make a 4wd datto?

YEP looked at putin 110/210 on chassi and 4X4n one, it will go on with out much trouble.
Talk to man at DMT he say $50.000.00 will make it on road ,(think he was peeeed of because he didnt think of it first, he is a dato nut to and likes to fish)
One day i will make one, have near evey thing but a good body shell.210 wagon would be best on 35in tyres x15in SWAMPERS. STOP STOP I AM GET A HARD ON
