I have a 79 b210 am triying to do a vg30t swap , so far everithing fits in place my only problem is the cross member. on the a-14 the oil pan bellie sits in the front, while on the vg30 sits in the rear... i have heard of swaping the 510 cross member but not for shure. if any ones knows about this. pls let me know before i take the torch to the croos member. tnx.
P.S. also have a a14 with a 4spd tranny for sale. and some other parts for the 79 210.

Not sure about the swap, but your 1979 "210" should be a B310. The B210 was model year 1974-1978 (called "B-210" in the USA), and the B310 was 1979-1982 (called "210" in the USA).

what you need is an oil pan and pickup tube from an 87-88 200SX (silvia I think) with a V6
we had them here that way as part of the SE option package.
that will give you a front sump like you need
I just don't know if they came that way any where else in the world, or if it was just a USA thing

If it's a 120Y (210) kind of car, then using a 180B (610) crossmember might be a good idea.

It works well for people who install a Z18ET.
I have no idea if that'll solve your problem, but it might curve the other way.

1200 & 210 (B310, Sunny) had front oil sump locations, where as B210 (120Y) was a rear oil sump location.
Most VG30(T) were rear oil sump location with the exception of the model I listed above, as far as I know
