Im wondering what engines are suitable to get a wheel stand out of a 1200 sedan.

hay if u are looking for good times at the strip like me go ca18det lots of easy mods.. save up the$$$ before doing it though it all costs money..
lol i no that one i have spent wayy 2 much on my ute ca18det conversion..
2 answer u question u need 2 get traction 2 lift the fronts up that means 10'' tubbs 4link rear end and more than 200hp... look through the forum for mymates ute Bella his ute is getting tubbd now and caged up.... soon 2 be a another weapon ute on the road with me...

Why do you WANT to wheelstand, it only slows your times down. While wheel standing may look impressive, the idea is to try and keep the front end on the ground.

But if you really wanna wheel stand, go as fast as you can in reverse, put it in 1st and pop the clutch....let us know how ya go

You mean Wheelstand & not a stand for your wheel, which is what a Wheel Stand would be.
The car in your photo is an all out custom built competition vehicle that uses what looks like a 1200 coupe body as one of the components in it's construction.

If you think that you can install a hot engine in your street[?] car & have it stand up....... your'e dreaming.
