What are you trying to upgrade, crankshaft strength & reliability, or are you trying to stroke out a 1200 block?

The original A12 crank is a strong as they come so an upgrade here is not required.

The worthiness of a stroke upgrade is dependant on your reasons for doing it. If you have a late 1200 motor [post '73] then just using the whole A14 engine will save a lot of grief & moolah, but if you are going to be sneaky, then P.M. me. I like sneaky.
