This may be slightly off topic - but I'm after some info on the finned alloy drums from the 280Z.
Don't flame me - but the reason I ask is that they are meant to be a bolt on replacement for the drums on my Triumph 2500 S.
Does anyone know how much of an improvement the finned alloy drums would make over the cast iron items? They must surely provide reduced rotating weight for rear wheels - plus improved cooling of the brakes.
Anyone have any factual info on the improvement of the alloy drums over cast iron ones?
Also are they the same across the 240.260.280 or only on available on 280ZX cars?
