coming home last nght i was hammering along a backroad.. as i do..
all of a sudden my lights shut of and car stoped.. Noooo!
i had absoloutly no power what so ever although i roll started it after about 10minutes..
and got home?
i have checked battery, fuses , any loose wires 2 alternator and starter motor..
i still have no power at all.. 2day troughout the whole car.. new alternator?

I had the same problem once. Try the fusible link first then the fuse panel. I noticed my fuses got "corroded" over time and replacement fixed that problem. If the fusible link comes loose on the + side of the battery then everything goes dead and stays that way. Hope this helps. more than a pint at this moment and feeling no pain.

That happened to me as well, and it was the fusible link. In my case, the link didn't burn out, but the spade connectors were corroded and loose.

this also has happened yto me, ended up being that crappy plastic connector for the ignition switch, when i hit a bump, it would cut out all powr cuse the terminals would not connect. Fixed it with spade connectors.
