Running a LA/LB Lancer Booster with a Nissan Master cylinder works ok, but that throws your clutch master cylinder plans into trouble.

I can say with some authority that running a Booster, and hydraulic clutch (with a CA installed), means a pedal box redesign.

Unless you remote mount the booster like the Escorts did. OR you remote mount the clutch master cylinder.

To move a 180B sized booster forwards anymore to clear the clutch M/C, means that the booster will hit on the strut tower.

There is no easy answer. Andrew (ca18detman) and his CA18DET survives fine without a booster.

Chris.

DVLDAT I would recommend a remote booster so that you have more room up front and it makes the enginee bay look neater. I am running a landcruiser master cylinder and will fit the remote booster when i make time. If it will help with your decision you can take my ute for a drive and see how they stop without a booster. They stop suprisingly well

I didn't think having clutch reservoirs or master cylinders inside the cabin was legal?

There is no way the guy had a regular looking clutch master cylinder, or was running the standard pedalbox if he was running a 120Y booster.
