i was just wondering on wot is some cheep engine mods that i could do to my stock 1200 motor? like would porting the head and getting a 2inch exhaust do much? wot is a bigger carby i could bolt on to it? thanx

you should go extractors, 2 inch exhaust, port and polish, 32/36 webber and electronic ignition, that will get the A12 going, but for most bang for your buck should just go A14/A15 with the same mods. you cannot even begin to compare the difference.

Porting the cylinder head & "cheap mods" in the same sentence? An improved exhaust is always a good start. I suppose it's all a matter of your definition of "cheap" is.

if u have the tools & knowledge 2 do the port and polish job it would be a cheap mod!
i have a a12 with 32/36webber set of extractors 2'' exhaust and had dye grinded the cylinder head my self made a big gain in performance...

Yeah I love your ute but you should crome the bumper bar..Is it missing the tailgate?? NIce sunraysias and steering wheel!!! Is Whaylla in Aus How did you get the steering wheel to fit and where from.. cant wait to see it when it is finished!!!! Welcome to the club... Man there is only 2 utes that i know of in tasmania!! Yeah whyalla is in OZ, my mate made me the boss kit for the steering wheel, its got a new steering wheel now its a tiny 10inch MOMO 1, ill update my page soon. i got the wood grane steering wheel from Bali.. yeah the ute is going to be black and the wheels r gold now, looks sweet already.
