removing the a12

hey guys,

just wondering what the easiest way is to remove an a12 from a 1200, i know how to take it out cept i dont really know the best way without gettin a hire engine hoist. can u take it out with one person? also, what do these engines weigh, i cant seem to access the 'show all results' pages in the search menus i know this has been discussed before.

get a chain plank of timber and 2people and LIFT!! its no that heavy but u might have 2 take the wheels of the front and lower the car if u cant lift the motor above your chest...

It can be done with one person as i have completed the task myself (engine was minus a head though) at a quess i would say the engine weighs about 70-80Kgs.
