I've put in a tacho which was working fine in the sedan. The tacho only seems to work when it fees like it. when it the tachos running the motor runs well making some decent power, when the tacho stops and starts jumping round it turns to sh#t. Any ideas? What needs replacing? Thanks.

Ive lost two batteries through the notorious blades of the alternator. Its an unforgiving piece of machinery. Anyways have you checked your coil it could be packing it in.
