Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that I am scheduled to come down to Australia Dec. 2 - 15th!! As most of you know, I've been a part of the club forever, even back when it was a Yahoo Club where my screen name used to be errrnstak. Anyway, since I've been a member, I've lived in Washington, Texas, Arkansas, and now Japan. The one place I have always wanted to go is Australia and I can't believe I'm finally going! I'm pumped to see what its like! Anyways, I hope I get to see some Datsuns down there, maybe even some of the Aussie club members that'd be so cool. I've met in person club members in every state that I've lived in so far besides Japan, so it'd really be cool to meet some of you guys. Now I don't know if I can smuggle in any fiberglass GX hoods w/me, I'll have to check w/my boss. I'll be going to Richmond, north of Sydney...anyone near there??? Alright gotta go, have a date tonight...see ya!

andy racer, you gotta get out to bathurst on the 6th & 7th of december.i'm going to be there,so's harry(l18-b110),& it's very easy to get to from richmond.i assume you'll be at the air force base.just go up the bells line of road,it'll take you to lithgow, then turn right towards bathurst.come & see mt panorama at least.the circuit is signposted all the way into bathurst,& even being able to say you've been there'll be bragging rights.just an idea, really.

Any chance there's a map available for it?? I'd love to see some racing action! At this point I'm not sure if or how many rental cars we will have. I wonder if they'd let us even drive down there??? Maybe an international driver's license would be needed? I should find out ASAP! See ya

on the saturday, the cars will be pitting outside the pit garages,so the best place to park is on the outside of the circuit,& you can come across the pedestrian bridge.it gets pretty hot on the concrete apron,so don't forget a good hat, like i did one year. it can also be as cold as a mother-in-laws welcome,so don't forget to take a jumper, too.i've been to bathurst in summer,& needed a very thick jacket,& (old fart mode engaged) in 1982,on the saturday of practice for the hardie ferodo 1000,it SNOWED. teretonga, thanks for offering to pick andy,i look forward to seeing you all there,& anyone else who wants to come & have a look.
