Are you happy to change the mounting rails or do you want them left as they are?

Seats from an 1989 Prelude fit, as well as Stanza seats (but admittedly they're not as well sculpted. Another option is to take the 120Y seats to an upholsterer and have them rebolstered.

Man, i reckon those vintage style cobra seats are the go, they may not be so comfy though, but they look so rad - stylish and period perfect

Measure some seats to see if the bases will fit.
If they do, then take your old seats and take the runners off the bottom of the old seats. Then remove the runner soff your new seats. Get pieces of plate steel and use bolts to connect the new seats holes in the base, with the old runners.
Then you have a seat that is new, but has the old runners and so will fit.
Then you do a jig because you are happy.

well i think i will do a seated jig if thety are comfy, i don't think i could go cobra seats being a coupe i think with the laws you cant have seats that will release forward quickly in case of emergency. well i was told that i don't know for sure. the cobra seats would be cool and i guess they do use them in the minis and they only have 2 doors so i guess i could

ford laser seats just require two new holes about 30-40mm forward... you can get them from the sporty tx3 models.
also the mitsubhisi cordia seats from the gsr fit but there is too much padding in them to fit with the doors closed. they also flip forward

I think that Series 2 RX7 seats are the same hole pattern on the seats. I think I measured them to be a good fit on the 1200 runners at the same width
