What have you guys done about pushrods in your modified A12,A14,A15's.
I'm stripped down and ready for the rebuild of my A15 and I'm just planning everything out to make sure its done properly. I just wasn't sure about the pushrods - have you guys stuck with standard ones, are there stronger/lighter ones available - custom perhaps. Same with the lifters and rocker gear as well.
Just thought I'd ask. Thanx in Advance

I think some of the hardcore racers use "hollowed titanium pushrods" as every moving part and it's associated momentum, all contribute to power loss. I think Nismo can supply them.

But generally I think you'll find the old pushrods are retained in 95% of street engines.

I'm sure some of our racing buddies will give you the good oil.

Chris.

We run standard pushrods to 8,500 rpm and have not had the slightest trouble.

Go for it!

I use Crow Cams cromolly pushrods with balls on both ends.
Though I use YT roller rockers also so I needd diffrent rods as the orig are cup and ball.
