Isn't that the homologated 120Y with an L series in it? An L14 I believe.

I think they look tough!

I loitered for a while waiting for the owner to come out so i could find out if its A14 or L14, took some pics on my phone so will try get them up tomorrow.
the windscreen forward looks all 120Y and the body looks more like 180B. the wheels are 13 inch with the same original hubcap as the 180B. I have never seen one before.

Nah, that was the 140Z.

I think a 140J is a 710 maybe?

There was one dumped at Thornleigh railway station a few years back, it had a hydrolic clutch (I took the master and slave for my 63a), and an L series.

Here in NZ we had 140J Violets (L14) which were 4 doors. And 160J SSS Violets (L16 twin carb, the later ones being dog leg 5-speed) which were Coupes. Styling similar to its contemporary the 120Y. Slightly smaller than 180B / 710 SSS. Afterwards late 1970's came the 'square' 160J SSS which was a fastback hatch very similar style to the B310.
