Hi everyone...

Been thinking of upgrading my rims, but i wanna keep my rims 13"! So what is the biggest brakes i can go to fit 13" rims?

Will the s13 calipers and disk fit my 13" rims? they seem like a good upgrade and easy conversion...i have a 74 120Y so it seems i can use my struts...like these:

Toyota 4 spot i guess wont fit my 13's right?

Im only now geting in to the brake upgrade scene so sorry for my ignorance...Peace...

very easy to make a bracket to fit s13 brake so onto b110 disk struts so should be the same for 120y.
I can confirm that they fit under 13's. absolutly couldnt go any bigger :D
Need to get hub machined a little bit to let the disk fit over. Fits straight over the drum strut hub though without any mods.

Have a search. there are quite a few people doing it

Almost a bolt on (no machining required) is the 280ZX brakes -- a vented rotor even. Fits under most 13" wheels, but not all (it is a close fit).

Hi yall....had to bring this topic back to life...will skyline r33 calipers fit under 13" wheels? what disk will i have to fit? i really need to upgrade my brakes...but dont really know what path to take...

im gonna drop an L16 in to my engine bay...what do you guys advise? s13 or go bigger like r33 calipers? thanks...

PIGDOG is the L series really worth it? give me your 2 cents about your swaps...what would you prefer? L16 or L18? what would be the major diferences between them? and which has more potencial for upgrades? im thinking about a megasquirt efi setup...

thanks a lot...peace to da world...

the 280ZX's came with 14" wheels, so i don't know that the brakes will fit in 13's

Someone should add the wilwood brakes as an option to the brake swaps wiki page, they're very strong and light as a feather, which is a big help on those heavy 280zx struts!

What bolt in strut do the ZX brakes bolt to? I have no 13" wheels that fit over 280ZX brakes, they come close and may fit with some grinding, but yeah I reckon only a few 13" alloys would fit.

I have 250mm front rotors (cortina calipers) and 255?mm rears (r31) with 13" alloys. Steelies would never fit.

I dont think r33 calipers would fit unless you went to the effort of making them sit very close to the hub? They came on a much larger rotor than the toyota 4pots.
