I was thinking to myself last night and a minute ago about vans like for example that Mitsubishi commercial van with a later licensed H190 diff. What commercial vans from the 70's\80's\90's are around Australia that are worth pulling the tape measure out for? Any of them have lsd centers? the reason I ask is that a local hire company has allegedly pulled most of thier crummy fleet off the road for safety reasons and if it plays out like in my head there's going to be an influx of commercial vans hitting the wreckers soon.

H190 is made by Hitachi which is Nissan-related company.

Hitachi and Mitsubishi were the two prime parts suppliers to Nissan for the Datsun 1200.

that's right, I read about those links through here years ago and always had this thought in the back of my mind as to whether or not the H190 on the mitsu would have the same splines as the nissan

H190 (datsun) in USA came with at least three different splines, but they are easy to swap the side gears, so no worries.

Which Mitsus have an H190?

Maybe that grotesque 4wd L300 van had a splipper in it, but it'd be a 6 stud axle. Doubt the local wreckers would have oner of them, though.
