It is 100% certain they will catch the 13B at registration time.

However you can get it engineered and then registered, no worries. For a Datsun 1200 in NSW a maximum size is allowed 13B Rotary (20B is too large).

you need to get it inspected, change of state warrants that usually.

also you need to get blue slip, pink slip and not waering them under a dress either.

so roadworty guy will pick it up before rta. and if they dont, they are risking their licence to blue slip cars too.

Well you could go down to your local AUVIS and ask (drive a different car to the station).

But maybe just talk to an engineer about getting a VCCS, as it seems almost certain you will need one.

In NSW the largest rotary engine you can legally put in your 1200 ute is a 12a.

If you were to go down the path of doing it on the sly you would most likely get picked up and defected sooner or later especially if you are under 25.

If you had an accident in the car and someone was killed or injured they will throw the book at you.

Some years ago a mate with a Celica that had been fitted with an 18RG got defected by the cops and the citation stated "rotary engine fitted".
