G'day,

The time's coming to replace the body seals/ rubbers in my coupe and I'm hoping some of you kind people might give me some clues on the best price/ quality places to buy etc. Pretty much the front windscreen is the only good seal.

Anyhow your input will be appreciated.

Thanks

Had a look at Scotts Old Auto Rubber, their kit is around 1k. Good value? Good quality? Other peoples experiences. Anyone tried bangkok auto parts? I bought an interior light from there, no complaints.

There are also these guys: http://www.spectrumrubber.com.au/index.html

No idea on quality etc., as have never bought anything from them.

Spectrum guys own Dattos too. They are good, but not as good as OEM. Door ones are good.

all the places in australia get thier weatherstrips from the same place . only one company makes them and sells them to everyone else. sorry but cant remeber which one it is that makes them . i had dramas with my front quarter window seals and had to modify them a little to fit better but i guess thats life.

on the spectrum site they like sedan coupe and ute door seals as the same part number, also wagon and sedan rear doors as the same part number

how are they on prices?

4-dr Sedan and 2-dr Coupe rubbers are very different. Perhaps they have a kit that need cut-to-fit to handle both. Long enough for Coupe, cut it to fit Sedan.

The Coupe and other 1/4 window rubbers are different too -- at least the Nissan ones are. The sedan/wagon/ute use the same one.

you make a good paint DD, forgot that the front doors only have one moulded corner. was more concerned about the rear door situation as the sedan rears have one moulded corner and the wagon has 2
