This is my take on the steelie rocker cover
to make is look much longer and less cluttered.

Its about hiding everything I can away to clean
the view. I call it the "Hidden Agenda" where all
the wiring is also hidden.

The breather hose will be at the back, Accelerator
cable will be a challenge but plan to use a bracket
off the side of the head where there is a thread.
Fuel line will run round the back with carb fuel
nozzle flipped so it runs under the carb box.

Almost finished, needs one final coat of paint and
the Datsun bossing to be hand painted in silver.

Looks nice. I like the Datsun covers. All the A series B210 and 210 covers say Nissan. I only have one of the Datsun covers and it came off my A12. Used it on my A15 setup.

Zig Zag,
I wrote a long PM about the alt bracket and alternator upgrade and when I use Firefox the PM dont get sent and sometimes I dont received them.
If you slice off with a grinder or hacksaw the rear section of the long bolt for the alt adjustment a camry 87-92 alternator will fit comfortably. Just place the alt above it and you will see the distance required to be taken off. Even if you take off too much you can use a washer to correct it. You can also fit a mitsubishi type alternator found of 84-86 mazda 929 the same way and follow the wiring diagrams on the wiki where 2 wires are connected to remove ext. reg. These Alts have have internal regs, fans and make 65 amps enough for most add ons. late racket is cast iron but works well cut up.

Will put other pics of the alt upgrade on the early model this time. Rest of the Hidden Agenda process for the 1000 also. Simple as they are I want to go further and cleaner unlike the state of my mind(s).

Ernie, I also prefer Datsun insignias will do it for the CA18 rocker also.

That might fit a 1000, but is there enough room on the back for a 1200?

I think theres more room in a 1200 hence the L series a much longer beast
fitting easier. At worst it would be easy to fit a straight brass threaded
tube it just that I had this one available at the time.
I used 2 pack steel putty to seal up the top breather and a thin bog layer.
