Hey guys, ive been doin some cleanin up around my garage to get stuck into these coupes i have and noticed something with the front bumpers.
I have 4 all up. none real good, and need to get my rear bumper rechromed anyway so was lookin 4 the best one to send with it to be re chromed.
This is where i noticed i have 3 two peice bumpers and 1 one piece. Are the 2 peice ones original items or is only the one peice one or??????
thanks

Interesting. I have only seen 2 piece ones that are spot welded in the middle. As a matter of interest where are you getting the rechroming done

That sounds like the one to use. I got roughly quoted 500 bucks from a place in ingleburn to restore my coupe bar. I nearly passed out with the quote. I'm going to look into getting my bumpers done overseas

2-piece and 3-piece Bumper were the minor assembly line change.
Quote:
62651-H1000 ASSY-BUMPER,FRONT [sedan/coupe/van]
62651-H1001 ASSY-BUMPER,FRONT from 0870 (interchanges with former)
Two-piece welded vs Three-piece welded
