Hey guys,

I have a 1973 1200 sedan, i want to get a new engine for it.
It obviously has an a12 at the moment, I'm tossing up between an a15, ca18 or an sr20.

I was hoping to know opinions on these engines, value for money, running costs etc.

It depends what you want for your dollar, you could do all the work and save big $$ or if u have to pay someone for ca/sr your starting price would be 10g+
If going a15 well depends on how much u pay for motor, then u need late ute cross member and the list goes on bud!

A15 - $600 + some work to install

CA18DE - $6,000

CA18DET - $9,000

SR20 - $10,000
