seeing how most people seem to be American on this site im just wondering if in America it is hard to come by an A-series five speed? how much do they sell for? and if they are hard to find is there a popular conversion thats being done for another 5-speed?

at a local wrecking yard, pick-your-parts, its $100 for any 5spd. i can ususally find one when i visit. ususally.
i dont know of another swap here in the US.

It's still not too unusual to find an entire 1980 Sunny B310 (called a "210" in the US) for cheap. This has the non-dogleg five speed and the A15 engine. This is what I had in my 1200. Although that A15 kept breaking the 1200 differentials ...
