Hi guys

I can't start my car since the starter motor does not work there is a clicking sound on a relay ut starter doesn't work, so i took it away and gave it voltage and it worked solenid and motor both but cranking was slower than usual.
then again fixed it the car and it worked 2 or three times and then again doesn't work , so i removed it again and gave 12 V supply from outside and it worked well again ,what sort of a problem is this ? this is strange to me

Could it be your battery doesn't hold enough cranking Amps ?

Very common problem. This occurred with my wife's 2-year old car.

Most common cause is the battery cables need to be cleaned. See Battery Maintenance. Less common reasons include worn out battery, or worn out starter.

I guess it can't be battery because when i take the motor out and gave a direct supply to check then it worked fine and my battery was in very good condition,i doubt whether motor doesn't work with the load of (when rotating with the flywheel)is it possible a motor runs without load and not working with load ?
if the main supply is the matter it atleast solenid should work is it ?
checked the voltage at the solenid signal wire and it is having

Yes, exactly. All occurs just like you say when the battery connections need cleaning.

It should only take 15 minutes.

I got it done ,Actualy it was a bad earth connection,installed a new set of earth and power wires and problem sorted

Hi Guys

So Annoyingly i got the same problem again,so Suspected bad battery and gave it to recharge it ,they said battery power has gone down and need to recharge it to see whether it can hold power , it was perfect till the last moment after 10 days of car just lying without running i could crank the engine enough times without any problem.
tell me a easy way to see whether the battery is discharging itself while car is not running

And about the Ignition coil resister : -

Is it getting extremely hot while car ignition is on ? is it hot while car engine is running ?

Have you cleaned the battery terminals yet?
