Try Ozdat Jeff, harder to come across now. R30 box is better and same size. Hard to get now too due to ca conversions.

What car is it for?

R30 box is stronger, but wider/crappier ratios, wider case and harder to fit in a 1200 tunnel, and obviously heavier.
Stanza 5spd has the cool dogleg pattern too :)

I have a Stanza 5spd that I was planning to use in my L16 B210 build, but a 260Z box that's come up is tempting me, so I might part with it...

I had a dog leg and have a r30 box now in car. yes it's wider and a touch heavier but in real terms it's only the 2nd to 3Rd gear change ratios that are noticeable.

The shift feels a lot better in the r30 box by far.

So did I. R30 gearbox was noticeably slower at hillclimbs. Small gearing changes can make massive performance differences. The shift mechanisms are the same, so no reason (other than condition) for the shift to feel any better or worse - unless you mean you prefer the normal H pattern?

Anyway. Make me an offer mate. I'm pretty sure I'll go with the 260Z box for my car.

I reckon most jap wreckers would have a Stanza shell in their yard. And cheaper than to buy and post on here.
