As wat the title says
My ute was running fine then i got to a set of traffic lights stalled fuel pissing out of the carby got it home by the rac strip it down cleaned it put the kit through it with new needle for float etc etc start it ran fine took it around the block got home left it for 5 or so minutes then it flooded again What is your opinion people float level is fine anf im running a electric fuel pump

Incorrect fuel pressure. It should be no more than 3.2 pounds and no less than 2.8 pounds.

What psi does the pump put out? Sounds like you need a reg'

On the packet its 4-7 psi its pulling i got the car goin again but when the carby starts to overflow the pump makes a racket its a new pump only been on the car for a week

They normally make noise when they priming or starved of fuel, definately get a regulator fitted after the pump (non efi) and check the location of the mounted pump is suitable for correct operation.

Its just strange how this just happen esspecially when i was goin on yesterdays run im just thinkin it is just the pump over pressurising cause i took the top off again on my carby and got a little container of fuel to see where the float sits sat where the half mark is on it

I am using a similar electric pump with dual carbies and a fuel regulator is required and must be set to around 3psi of pressure.
It does seem strange that it runs for quite a while and then floods though,
many people on this site know much more than me about carbs though, good luck.
