hey i got a iload turbo for free i think its from a 2.5 diesel

would this be to big for a 1.2 a12? or should it be okay?

i just want to try it out blowthourh with stock carby and just a J pipe manifold

also the stock exhaust manifold what is it made from? can it be mig welded?

It's probably ball park the right size based purely on the power the iLoad makes 100-125kW. It might be a bit big but it's free so try it out.

The stock exhaust manifold is grey cast iron. You can google ways of welding it. You might get lucky with a mig doing it cold. There are two ways that should work:

1: heat the manifold slowly and uniformly till it's a dull red, weld, then post heat it to keep the temperature uniform and cooling slow. I've read about people burying them in sand to slow the cooling.

2: weld it cold with nickel rods (I've not come across any nickel wire for a mig)

I reckon the easiest way would be to keep the flange off the pipe side and weld onto that.
