Just thought I'd introduce myself to the community and especially Seattle / NW Datsun folks.
I won't take delivery for a week or two, but am beginning my research (and outreach). To be honest, I'm not sure what I'll do with it when it's here. I'm waiting for the "car to tell me what it wants," as weird as that sounds. I will lower it and give it some wheels, tires, and suspension ups, carb; but it's so beautiful and original, I don't know about major mods.
Stats: 3 owners, 55k miles, imported by 2nd owner who was stationed in London, who bought from owner in London who bought it new.
Anyway, I have lots of questions, so I'll be posting soon enough!

Congratulations. Love the period-correct GT wheels, the vinyl top and original interior. Looks great in white.

Yes, this is the same one you saw on Facebook, Ratsun.net, and Craigslist. She was great to work with and I had a car collector in Colorado broker the deal for me. It was a great transaction AND I just found out the car arrives in Seattle on Monday or Tuesday!

Very nice, I'd go with a set of anti-sway bars, decent shcoks and weber DGV carb. After that just enjoy it. Maybe get some new carpets etc.

It's being shipped and should arrive in Seattle on Monday or Tuesday. Will post the ID plate ASAP. I do know that it came from England.
