Hi guys I have just bought a bumper and tried to do a dry test fit this afternoon, one problem the new bolts that I bought for some reason don't want to screw in yet im 100% shore that they are the same as the old ones which I through away. Now the bolts that im after are the four that bolt the bracket to the car,not the ones that bolt the bracket to the bumper I have those and there is no problem with them.Does anyone have any?

There are two sizes. Earliest 1200 use smaller bolts.

Hi guys that might explain it,im pretty sure I took the ones off an 84 ute shell that I had,the one I have now is a 79.Are the brackets called stays?i says in tech wiki that the early bolts are 8mm and the newer model has 12mm but there is no way that they are 8mm,im thinking 10 mm.

Just went out and measured the bolts on my 84 ute. They are indeed M12 x 1.25 x 30. Should be able to find those at any hardware store.

Yeah I tried m12's and they wont screw in even after cleaning the thread on the nuts with a tap.So I got the angle grinder out cut the nut off drilled the hole and now the m12 fits snug.
