I am not sure if any A15 came with electronic distributors but I suppose the Injected A15 did but this would be pretty hard to come across!

You can make an ET Pulsar electric dissy fit with a few modifications!
You need to take the gear off the bottom of your A15 points dissy and fit it to the Pulsar dissy. But make sure you fit the gear so it will make the dissy the same length as the original A15 points dissy!
Then the only other modification that is required is to take the points dissy locating bracket and fit it to the electronic dissy and then you have to weld a little bracket to this locater so the dissy will fit in the correct spot!

( It's been a while since I done mine but I am sure the dissy comes off the ET Pulsar and the same model standard Pulsar! But I am not 100% sure, but I do remember I got 2 electronic distributors and I ended up selling one to a customer for his ET which he crashed and busted his dissy!)

Jeff Taylor at JTS in Sydney also modifies an electronic dissy to fit the A series.
He said he gets them from a japanese nissan engine, but they look exactly the same as mine.
Maybe you could contact him!

Thanx muchly. Much appreciated.
Did converting the dizzy make much of an improvement? I'm guessing it would have.
Mainly reliability and probably a bit smoother as well, I suppose.
I might try and track down the pulsar one and give it a go.
Do they have an internal or external module?

ps I would be interested to here some info on what you done to your A15 as I'm not quite sure whether to go naturally aspirated or turbo.
Being such a light vehicle I dont think there is any need to go too over the top (at this stage!)
$$$$$$$

Feel free to email me as my computer is sooooooo sllllllooowwwwww. Especially on this site.

Mainly just reliability as you don't have to worry about changing the points and plus once you set it there is no going out of whack, like points!
It has an internal ignition module!
I changed mine though so that I could run an MSD module! I was realy just after the pickup!

Yeah pretty much exact! but if you drill a new hole you can get rid of the extra 3 mm!

When they regraph a dissy it means they eithr change the wieghts or springs or both on the centrifical advance mechanism so that the ignition curve will either change quicker or slower at a different rpm.

Here in the US, the later model A-series powered cars (B-310s and pooibly later B-210s) came with the "matchbox" distributor. These have the little black box on the outside of the distributor with two connectors on it.
I have used these with pretty good success.
