I was under the hood putting in a k&n filter and i noticed the gold sticker that shows the vacuum routing. It was pretty dirty, but i cleaned it off and took a picture to add to my archive.

so I have that taken care of.

now i just have to feel motivated to check them all out again.

Tends to focus more on the later 210's.

You can usually find a great manual at the main city or county library. The Mitchell manual (1000 pages thick ...) has the emission hose diagram, as does the Nissan manuals.

1. Actually, the FWD version is a 310 (or F10).

2. Not much of a chance really. Most of the info on this site applies to the 1200 (or B110). The B310s are about 10 years newer and very little is the same. your best bet is to get a factory service manual for your vehicle from your local Nissan dealer. If money's tight, a Haynes manual is cheaper but most times less effective.

I stand corrected... the VIN plate does say 'B310'

datsun/nissan had some odd naming conventions. i thought the b210 was the RWD model, then they went to the 210 when it became FWD.

I also have an 83 nissan by datsun nissan sentra.

i'll be looking in the tech section. any chance i'll find a vacuum routing diagram there?

You should know first off, that it is not a B210, which will help you find parts for the right vehicle.

1979-1982 models are Nissan chassis code B310, labeled in the US as "Datsun 210". The earlier car (B210) was labeled "Datsun B-210". The cars are quite different.

Rubber parts are available from Nissan. For urethane bushings, try Ground Control suspension (see the article Part Sources in our tech section).

What should i know about taking care of this car?
I am restoring it, the previous owner pretty much trashed the car, so following the process I used on my 83 sentra, I have ordered nearly every part to replace with fresh new parts. The engine had the head taken off and overhauled, new valves and pushrods. I've replaced every vacuum line with fresh silicone lines, and hooked up the ones someone disconnected ( any one got a vacuum diagram for an 81 A15 with federal emissions?? ) I'm replacing all the rubber stuff, any one know of a source for urathane bushings?

what are some good resourced for parts and whatnot?
