The L20B uses a different adapter plate for the carb.

Electric choke? That's what most 1200s have, at least in the US. My 32/36 was a DGAV, I just took the water-heated choke off and fit an electric choke, instantly turning it into a DGEV.

The electric choke wire is powered by the IGN wire (before the ballast resistor -- full 12V). It is normally switched through a relay hooked to the alternator 'N' output, but that isn't strictly necessary. The relay is not to handle the current, it's just that the N output enables the relay only if the engine is actually running.

Im looking at buying this 32/36 weber but it was in 1979 Stanza with L20B engine and the carby is electric choke my question is this a straight bolt-on to my '81 Sunny A12? cos I thought I need a manual DGV series for my A12
Please advise
the carby is only $200 with linkages and k & N filter

seein its setup for the 1600, id say use it for that as including manifold and everything else the price to fit to the a-series wont be worth it, put ti on the autocrosser and get a 32/36 downdraught for the 1200

So in theory once choked and jetted it should run ok????
Would it be worth the effort on a standard 1200 (I'm happy with any increase in performance) or should i just stick it on the 1600 and forget about it.???

I've been offered a sidedraft 45 weber on an L series manifold with a custom made cold air box to use on my 1600 autocrosser.

I'm wondering if this carby could be run on my stocko 1200 without much drama.
Obviously i will need an a series manifold but will the carby be overkill for a 1200?????

(this setup will only cost me $200.00 dollars)
