Yep you are most correct the 910 Blubird was available with IRS, everywhere except Australia, due to the government regualations forcing the inclusion of a certain amount of local content, the easiest thing to do was change the rear end. This also happened with the 200B, which is why the early 200B's in aust had IRS, the laws were introduced mid model run

The 120Y with IRS, if it's the car I'm thinking of, is a custom job using P510 parts. Very well done though. If you want info on it your starting point would be Waterhouse Automotive in Sydney.

Having owned a PB210 excellent in the past, they did not have IRS, ever. It wasn't even an option for Grp 2 and Grp 4 competition cars. I wish it had of been, I would have used it.

The Bluebirds that were JDM only..pillerless models..they were IRS.

As for olboys idea of the IRS 120Y (Excellents) ..that is a very cool fact.

I'll be looking much closer at them in future.

Hi Tsuro they did make some 120ys with irs and L series motors. I have seen 2 they were imported and are very rare. carn't remember what they were called but they were good stuff. had a bonnet with a bump like the 1200gxs did.
