ive got 195/50/15's on my coupe on TRX rims

you need stanza struts though
i used to have standard struts but upgraded to stanza struts with VL turbo discs and callipers for extreme braking

with offset it is almost impossible to fit trx rims

another good fit is pulsar ET turbo wheels
185/60/14 tyres
with small spacers will fit great onto standard struts and rear

tyres arent the big deal. wheel offset is guys. thats why some of you have 205's that sit inside the guards on the front and some of you (like me) have 185 or 175 13's that arent even close to fitting inside the guards but yeah, reef those guards out as hard as you can and you will gain yourself an extra few cm's.

Just thought I'd let you all know (if you don't already)Nissan Skyline 15x6 rims (not sure of the year model) but they look just like Commodore pursuit rims fit with no guard mods but you do need spacers behind the front .
I know this because I have them on my sedan and I'm still running the front drum brakes .

Oh yeah the front tyres are 195-50-15
and rear are 205-50-15 .
The front only rub at full lock on the inside guard\firewall.

Just thought you'd like to know.

I tried to fit 185 13" to my ute this weekend. The 185 sits well outside the front gaurds.

Hey Dodgeman, you must have flared your gaurds to fit these??

I have never needed to flare my guards, but it is always a good idea to roll up the internal lip of the front guards. You need wheels with the correct offset to avoid the problem.

R31 style Pintaras have 14x5.5JJ. They are a good fit on a 1200. Especially with 185/60 series or less tyres. But if you get big brakes..they are no good. The rim centre hits on big calipers.

I think Bluebird wheels will also fit. They'd be 14x5. or 14x6 as well.
