TNT logistics is the cheapest for sure. I got quoted at $285 for a transport from Adelaide to Sydney. They go all over Australia too so im guessing maybe 300 to 350 for your trip.

Give em a call and ask for a quote depot to depot.

dattodude's right. But for $180 fuel money, I reckon he's planning on towing it with a stocko Datsun 1200! Especially with NSW fule prices for most of the trip!

this is for my work mate as he wants a car from melbourne (1981 Mazda RX7) for $1600 but then + transport $600 but then the total will be about the same as buyiing one here in brisbane

Cheapest i can get my ute transported from Newcastle to Brisbane is $589 so your getting it way cheaper than me!

5 days drive there and back
4 nights accomodation $320
Maccas diet $65
5 days trailer hire $400
Petrol $180

That's almost $1000

And it'd be hard work to do it in that time.

I don't think you could do it yourself for cheaper, so the price seems ok. How do you think the transport companies set their prices?

Keep looking though, you might find a company offering discount because of an empty truck.

Anyone knows a cheap/affordable company that will transport an unregistered car from melbourne to brisbane? I got a quote from one company which is $620 thats SOOO EXPENSIVE!
