DGV - manual choke
DGEV - automatic (electric) choke
DGAV - automatic (water heated) choke
DFEV/DFAV - mirror-image to DGV series
Holley 180 - Australian licensed version of Weber 32/36
Holley 5200 - US licensed version of Weber 32/36

In Oz, the G180 is a licensed version of the Weber 32/36 and fitted to:

- 2-liter Ford Escorts
- 2-liter Ford Cortinas

In the US this carb is named the "Holley 5200". It came on the:

- 1970-1980 Pinto and Mustang 4-cyl and 2.8 V6
- 1979-1982 Ford Courier pickup 2-liter engine
- 1979-1982 Fairmont/Granada/Mustang/Capri/ 2.3 liter 4-cyl
- Chrysler 1.7, 1.6 & 2.2 engines
- Chevrolet Vega and Chevette, Pontiac Sunbird and Astre

My 32/36 came from a cortina with a manual choke in the same box of parts. I am not sure if this is an original part though as I had to fabricate a cable mount for it, but you can definately get one.

Does anyone know if any of the afore mentioned carbs were available with manual chokes? If so what cars were they fitted to? No doubt the automatic water hooked ones work fine , but the two I have have been dechoked by previous tamperers. Plus with my s/c arrangement, I dont need the added hassle of more plumbing.
Thanks.

PS, if anyone near me has one for sale, sing out.
