b310 uses H150 diff, same length as H145. Not sure if the tailshaft length is the same. Depends on the transmission.

Apparently the 74-up utes have the longer diff center (meaning shorter tailshaft).

Why would coupe and sedan use different length tailshafts? The wheelbase is the same. Auto and Manual shafts are different in some way.

Can anyone confirm that the sunny tailshaft is the same as a 1200 ute tailshaft.

Cheers,

Paul.

coupe and ute are tailsharfts are the same length but not interchangable as the yolk (diff end ) is bigger on a ute. I'm fairly sure a sunny one is the same as a ute though. Hope this helps.

Leigh,
I think you are correct. I also think that the coupe tailshaft is a little longer than the ute. I think it's because most utes came out with a H165 diff and coupes came with H145 and because the diff centres are a different length means that the tailshafts have to be a different length.
I want a ute one to put into my rally coupe because I run a H165 diff centre.
Any help..........anyone
