The turbo in question is my current Garret T25. It was in very good nick with very little shaft play. The problem is ANY turbo not carbon sealed will fail when you run fuel through it. The std seals will not stand up to fuel and they will perish. T3 I think may be alittle big. If I remember corrcetly the Garrett T3 also has the wastegate incorporated into the exhaust dump pipe. More of a pain to fabricate aftermarket stuff.
I would recommend a garret T2 or T25. Either way you are going to have to rebuild it unless you can find a turbo which is already carbon sealed. My sponsor will have a carbon sealed T25 here in Brisbane for sale soon. However the price will be around the $450 mark as it will be fully rebuilt.
