Thanks guys. I don't want to you use them now as I have gone to a CA18DET motor. They're just sitting in my garage but I might have a buyer for them if they fit an A15 block.

If the a15 block has been bored +20 thou , the pistons will fit.
HOWEVER, because the A14 pistons have a taller crown height, they will be about 2.5mm higher at TDC than the A15 ones.

I cannot remember how far below deck height the A15 pistons come, but I would assume that you would need to machine the dish (or part of it) off. to prevent it crashing into the cylinder head, OUCH.

One other difference, besides the crown height, is that (from what Ive seen anyway, correct me if I'm wrong) the dish in the crown of the piston is Offset on the A15 pistons, and central on the a12/14.

So if you had some reuseable +.20 a14 slugs, they could be used in an a15, but mesure up first ,and be sure that you wont lose too much of the meat above the top ring .

Or even better still, you should give them to me! lol

The A14/15 pistons have the same diameter & the same wrist pin size, but the A15 has a lower crown height. This means that in an A14 engine, it will have lower compression.
If this is what you want, then go for it.

Will A14 20 thou oversize pistons fit an A15 block?
Thanks Matty
